Work Setting
- Retail environment (grocery/produce department)
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Zone and maintain the produce department
- Rotate stock and check for expired products
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced
- Maintain cold chain compliance, including temperature checks and records
- Follow food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
- Assist with ordering, pricing, labeling, and markdowns
- Stock merchandise and ensure shelves are fully replenished
- Downstock products and apply product protection when required
- Set and complete modulars, including new shelf layouts
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Provide customer service and assist customers as needed
